The Economic Development Agency of the City of Karlsruhe together with GINSEP (German Indian Startup Exchange Program), Berlin organized a Startup Pitch Award for German and Indian startups.
The goals were the motivation, success and successful support of start-ups and growth companies. This event also showed the interest in partnerships between Germany and India.
As AEN is looking for suitable startups for the CE Connector project, the GINSEP Award with the segments mobility, IoT and industrial digitalization was a good opportunity to scan the "startup market".
The AEN sponsored a "coaching and consulting package of 8 hours in the areas of business plan optimization or technical concept optimization". The AEN was represented by their board member Prof. Fritz Neff, who cordially invited the winners to Karlsruhe to present the prize for the coaching package to the winner.
The ceremony was held together with Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup of the City of Karlsruhe and Marc Sesemann of Sparkasse Karlsruhe at FUX, Karlsruhe, who donated the winning prize of 1,000 euros. All startups participated virtually in the event.
