Future Mobility Award 2025

The Future Mobility Award honors sustainable mobility solutions for the transportation sector. The aim is to provide start-ups with the opportunity to present themselves and make their innovative ideas and solutions visible, while establishing an international competition that will be held regularly. In 2025, the award will be presented for the sixth time.

Karlsruhe – A Hub for Innovation

Karlsruhe is a city where ideas are transformed into business models at the heart of an innovative research environment. With its unique network of science, industry, politics, and transport companies, Karlsruhe is not only a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for sustainable mobility – it is also home to one of Germany’s most dynamic and vibrant start-up ecosystems.

Smart mobility is becoming increasingly important. Innovations and ideas from young companies – often key drivers of growth and competitiveness – can make a crucial contribution to developing future-ready solutions. That’s why the Future Mobility Award is committed to giving start-ups the opportunity to present their projects to a jury, mentors, business angels, investors, and the public. This visibility helps them grow – and contributes to the development of the entire mobility sector.

A long-term goal is to attract these start-ups to the region – a welcome and valuable outcome of the award.
